Originally from the rainforests in West Africa, Ficus Lyrata frequently grows as an epiphyte, meaning it starts life in the branches of another tree, eventually sending its roots down to the ground.

Care
  • Pot size: 17cm
  • Grows well in temperatures between 18 – 28°C.
  • Water when the top 2.5cm of the potting soil is dry.
  • This plant likes high humidity which can be replicated by misting with water occasionally.
  • Dead leaves just need to be cut off at their base of the stem to enable re-growth.
