In ‘Reaching Peace Wychwood Wild Garden’, our attention is captured by a striking formation of stark, slender branches in the foreground. In the distance, burnt amber shades of a sunset peek through the thick woodland, whilst the evening sun’s lustre effectively outlines the tree, embracing its silvery, organic tones.

Employing the traditional method of building the supports and stretching the canvases herself, Fulljames relishes in the freedom of creating atmospheric pieces which hold significant meaning in her life, using fine quality oils on linen or canvas. Immersing herself wholeheartedly in the present, capturing a scene becomes an invigorating process of experimentation, the finished product remaining a scintillating mystery.

Internationally sought after for her collection of surreal and wildlife paintings, Fulljames studied Fine Art at Portsmouth College of Art where she specialised in drawing and sculpture, continuing her art studies in Rome and Florence. She has spent most of her life living abroad, transmuting her dynamic surroundings into ethereal landscapes.
