Insights
Since childhood, Churchill has keenly taken her surroundings to accumulate fragments of natural inspiration. Incorporating her love of gardening with the flourishing Cotswold environment, the artist thrives off recording the blossoms she grows, transmuting them into larger than life pieces that demand attention from their vibrancy and variety of textures.
Artist
Widely exhibited internationally, Churchill’s work has been viewed at the Museum of Fine Art, Boston, the Smithsonian in Williamsburg, and the Vatican in Rome. Largely self taught, the artist creates most of her work with traditional oil paints, in turn applying her attention to a range of themes including still life, landscape, wildlife and flowers.
