Over time, the surface of the wood will mellow to a beautiful silvery grey if left untreated, further complementing the piece’s clean undulating lines.

• The yarns on the Kvadrat fabric are coloured throughout, meaning your cushions are more resistant to fading over time. The fabric has a waterproof backing, so the cushions can be left out in the summer months and during light showers. Over winter we recommend storing your cushions away.

• During winter, we recommend storing the garden furniture with a covering outdoors or in a non-heated room, such as a garage. Sudden change from low to high temperature will cause cracks in the wood.
• Decide whether you prefer the wood to take on a beautiful silver grey patina or a golden teak glow: For a silver grey colour, you should not apply care products to the wood. Exposure to sun and rain will naturally turn the wood the desired grey colour.
• To keep the golden, warm glow, the teak wood must be treated with a teak oil, made for outdoor use. Treatment can then be repeated 1-2 times a year, follow directions from the supplier of oil.
