Syngoniums are a beautifully elegant houseplant with fascinatingly variegated foliage consisting of splashes of cream patterns. Commonly known as the ‘arrowhead plant’ for their leaf shape, syngoniums are in fact vines; in the wild as they mature and their stems grow longer, they climb up trees. They also aid in increasing humidity. Please note that the featured pot cover is not included.

Native to the rainforests of Latin America, Syngoniums reduce airborne microbes and indoor air pollution, including volatile organic compounds such as benzene and formaldehyde. The pollutants are absorbed by the leaves, and the toxins end up in the roots to feed the plant, which is an extraordinary concept.
