The opulent, velvety red of Tulip Jan Reus’ petals make it an obvious choice for bringing elegance to the border. It is wonderful when planted in amongst orange and purple tulips, or alone to contrast pleasingly with its green foliage.

Triumph tulips are a cross between Darwin and Early tulips and are the largest variety, prized for their traditional tulip shaped flowers and their sturdy stems. They are also considered to be the best type of tulip for forcing.
