Are face masks required?
As per the new Government guidelines (updated 28th November 2021) it is mandatory for all visitors to the store to wear face masks at all times, unless exempt from doing so. This includes our café areas, unless you are seated.
Are wheelchairs available?
These are available from our Customer Service Desk should you need assistance to explore the store. No booking is required.
Are dogs allowed?
Sorry, but we do not permit dogs, not even our own. (Guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed.)
Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is prohibited everywhere in the store and outside, this includes the use of electronic cigarettes.
Where are your loos?
Our loos are located through the archway past the Food Hall. Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities are available.

Our Christmas department has gained quite a reputation over the years, brimming with stunning displays and inspiration for the festive season ahead. Once you pass under the glittering archway you are transported to a winter wonderland.
It's our raison d'être to bring you something a bit different for your home, so we hope you will be inspired by our carefully selected home accessories, stylish furniture and artisan ceramics and kitchenware. There are both locally sourced hidden gems and luxurious foreign finds laid out around our beautiful Interiors section.
We also specialise in garden and gardening essentials, specially selected for you with our usual attention to detail and eye for quality. From exquisite plants for the garden and elegant terracotta pots to superb garden tools and artisanal garden features, there is much to inspire your dream garden.
Managed by our team of enthusiastic experts, our Houseplant department offers one of the most extensive selections in the UK. From dramatic Philodendrons and Monsteras, to fascinating succulents and variegated Calatheas, our miniature rainforest within the Cotswolds is quite breathtaking.
Warmer weather brings the prospect of outdoor living from dawn to dusk. Our collection of garden furniture and lighting, barbecues, kadais and firepits will have you looking forward to spending more time in the garden.
A haven for the inquisitive mind, we have curated the Reading Room to celebrate great design and captivating reading. Located left of the entrance, our Reading Room holds an array of intriguing literature, in addition to unique items such as antique furniture, board games and even historical artefacts!
Those who relish the finer gastronomic things in life will be inspired by our selection of delicacies in our Food Hall. A festival of all things delightful, our assortment of food and drink is bursting with flavour and has been specially selected in typical Burford fashion!
Our children's emporium, Little Burford, is full of wonderful toys encouraging fun and adventure. From outdoor play and fabulous pedal cars to the essential Steiff toys, there is a wide selection to inspire your little ones.

We have created a wooden adventure trail adjacent to our carpark at Burford. This Natural Play area offers a gentle backdrop to play within the leafy landscape. Relax a while and enjoy watching your children have the freedom to run a little wild.
