notes
This stunning collection of jazz record covers depict the designs that defined a sound. Faithfully reproducing covers from the 1940s through to the initial decline in the LP in the early ‘90s, this anthology of jazz artwork has been described by Artists & Illustrators as a ‘visual feast of 12-inch-square draughtsmanship and photography at its finest’. Each record cover is accompanied by a fact sheet listing, art director, photographer, illustrator, year, label, and more.
