notes
Echinacea Cleopatra dots the border with sunshine tones from June to September, with its soft yellow petals. The long, straight stems of the flowers make them ideal for cutting for arrangements, or leave them in situ to add interest to the autumn border.
Insights

Named for its similar colouring to the Cleopatra Butterfly, it's nectar filled cones will attract native family members of its namesake throughout the summer. It is pleasing to note that the name echinacea comes from the Ancient Greek word 'ekhinos', meaning hedgehog; it is easy to see why!
