notes
Rudbeckia deamii produces bright, autumn colour. Colloquially called Black-eyed-Susans, the daisy-like rudbeckias have a generous number of large single, golden-yellow blooms with a red-ringed, black central cone, held on tall, strong stems, from early summer into autumn.
Insights

This rudbeckia is a particularly free flowering variety, ideal for planting in bold drifts or as part of a prairie scheme, as it looks magnificent when mixed with grasses. It is extremely tolerant of most soil types and locations and can deal with drought once established. The colourful blooms are ideal as a cut flower. Rudbeckia deamii is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
