With its origins dating back to Roman times, circa 2nd century BC, Tinta de Toro is a Spanish grape variety grown in the region of Toro (Zamora). This strong and resistant grape is given a particular strength and elegance from the severe climate, and the dry and stone soils in which it grows. The wines it produces are appreciated by their quality, balance, mild acidity, intense ruby colour, and delicate aromas of berries.
