Features

notes
A compact, upright shrub bearing small, glossy leaves, which is ideal for hedging or as a substitute for box. It can also be grown in containers due to its neat, columnar habit. The young leaves emerge as light green, giving a two tone effect, with insignificant, little green flowers also produced in early summer.
Insights

Semi-evergreen, the shrub may lose some of its leaves in winter and in more exposed areas it may lose them all, but it will recover in spring. This is a fast-growing shrub, which works well alone or as a foil against more ornamental shrubs.
