Features

notes

Vividly and irregularly coloured green, yellow, red and burgundy, the Croton Mammi also offers a textural interest due to its extraordinary twisting corkscrew growth habit in the foliage. Such a bold houseplant will stand out immaculately in an interior demanding a hint of dynamism.

Insights

Native to Australia, the Philippines and New Guinea, the Croton Mammi plant can be found within the humid scrubland and or beneath the dappled shade of open forests in these tropical and subtropical regions.

Plant Care

In order to mimic its natural environment, bright indirect light is recommended, however do not place it in full sun as this will burn its leaves. In its native habitat, this plant is used to rainfall at least every other day, so ensuring the soil is moderately moist at all times is key, however never allow it to be drenched. To encourage humidity, place on a saucer filled with water and pebbles.
