Designed by artist and printmaker Ellen Merchant, these Blue and Green Wiggly Stars lampshades feature a minimalistic yet bold design using the traditional method of wood block printmaking. A classic ‘frustrum’ shape - a cone with the topmost section removed - Empire Shades are considered one of the more versatile lamp shade shapes. Please note, the lamp base and bulb featured are not included.

Drawing from her love of antique textiles and botanical forms, Merchant creates hand-drawn, uplifting designs with a decorative aesthetic that pays homage to the British arts and crafts movement, in turn embracing the ethos and techniques behind these traditions whilst adding a contemporary twist.
