Features

notes

This Vera mini standard has been carefully trained into an extremely attractive lollypop form. Its shape makes it a natural choice for statement planting. Vera is a small, evergreen lavender, a cross between the English and Portuguese herb and has long spikes of dusky pale to dark purple flowers in summer.

Insights

For centuries Lavandula has been grown for its sweet aroma, picked just as the flowers come into bloom, they can be dried and used to flavour baking or sewn into muslin bags to scent clothes and the linen cupboard.
