Features

notes

Wonderfully vibrant, the canary yellow flowers of Jasminum nudiflorum herald the arrival of spring. This tolerant deciduous shrub has a loose, sprawling habit that can easily be persuaded up walls or with the help of wires or a trellis. It is unusual for a jasmine not to want to intertwine, but its strong, flower-covered stems arch elegantly and independently.

Insights

Jasminum nudiflorum was well-received in Britain when it was introduced from its native China in 1844. It retains its popularity and was a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
