Features

notes
Bearing green scalloped leaves sat upon pink-tinted, silvery variegated stems, the Alocasia Brancifolia is a rare, eye-catching houseplant. Known to have some of the most dramatic foliage within the Alocasia family, the vivacious green and silky textured leaves resemble elongated maple leaves for their pointed and scooped edges. A welcome addition to any space in need of some unique flair and character.
Insights

Native to Papua New Guinea, Alocasia Brancifolia can be located in the lowland understorey regions of the rainforest, often in rather swampy zones, hence the genus’ requirements for high humidity and warm temperatures.

Plant Care:

Alocasia thrives well in high humidity and bright, indirect sunlight. Allow the top 3cm of soil to dry between watering; over-watering, wet leaves, and soggy soil makes the Alocasia susceptible to a variety of serious fungal infections. Place on a saucer filled with pebbles to replicate the humid rainforest environment.
