Insights
Basil can be grown indoors all year-round, but spring and summer are the optimal months. It likes six hours of sunlight each day so a south facing position is ideal, with the herb ready to harvest 2-3 months after sowing. Enjoy its flavour in pesto or added to pasta, salads and tomato dishes.
