Features

notes

A compact form perfect for smaller gardens, Hydrangea paniculata Silver Dollar has clusters of creamy white conical flowers that slowly fade to pink as they age. Wonderful as cut or dried flowers, the blooms also bear a slight fragrance.

Insights

Deciduous shrubs, paniculata hydrangeas are natives of China and Japan and are very hardy. They like to have cool roots, so do well behind a wall, and Hydrangea Silver Dollar thrives in dappled shade and can light up a dull corner. It looks great in a pot, but keep it well watered, especially in terracotta. A recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit for all round excellence in the garden.
