The Abbaye collection was inspired by a visit to a 12th century Cistercian abbey in Picardy, and a general love of France. The delicate pen and ink hand painted packaging is reminiscent of a Grand Tour sketchbook and was commissioned from a Suffolk artist.
- Handmade in Suffolk
- Trim wick to 1cm (a quarter of an inch), after every four hours of burn time to prevent soot and prolong candle life.
- Keep out of the reach of children
- Monsieur Clement - Blended in honour of the gardener at the abbey, this fresh light, fragrance is reminiscent of an early morning walk through the herb garden and the sunshine on the beautiful avenue of bay trees
- Madame Therese - A whimsical, white floral accord of lily, narcissus and gardenia evocative of the flowers in the walled garden at Valloires
- Poire 1796 - Named in honour of one of the oldest pear trees in France, planted in the abbey gardens in 1796, this fragrance is a blend of pear and the delicate notes of sweet pea blossoms
- Garrigue - French for ‘heathland’ so think juniper berries, gorse and dry smokey grass
- Fleurs D'Église - Reminiscent of the still air inside a church filled with fragrant flowers: white roses, jasmine, tuberose and lilac
- Countess Marie - A one time inhabitant of the abbey, this fragrance is dedicated to the Countess. Orangey citrus notes carefully blend with the sweet notes of sage and rosemary from the herb garden
