notes

A variety of the popular British native apple Cox's Orange Pippin - Malus domestica Christmas Pippin is a late season eating apple: crisp, honey-sweet, with a hint of sharpness. The Christmas Pippin will keep for two or three months after harvesting, hence the name. In fact the taste of the stored fruit improves after a few weeks. A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
