notes
Ideal for year-round pruning of shrubs and light branches in the garden, the Moku Folding Pruning saw bears Ibara–me teeth, which are angled to cut both along and across the grain, giving a very fast, efficient action.  The raw beech handle has a simple locking device to keep the blade in place when folded.
Insights:

Japanese saws cut on the pull stroke, not the push, giving you more control. It also means the blade is under less pressure when cutting, and uses less energy, resulting in a far cleaner, faster cut.

Details & Care:
  • 23.5cm folded length
  • 18.5cm blade
  • Max cut Ø6cm
  • 8.46 teeth per inch
  • SK-5 Steel
  • Beech handles
  • Made in Sanjo, Japan
  • Treat 1/3 of the length of the blade as the absolute maximum sensible cutting diameter
  • Use a smooth, gentle sawing action, doing the cutting on the pull, and gliding back on the push
  • Use Crean Mate to remove rust, then wipe over with Camellia Oil
