Insights
The ocean is close to the heart of Salcombe Distilling Co, with their premises in Salcombe, Devon, one of the only distilleries in the world accessible by boat. Their New London Light series of non alcoholic spirits is inspired by coastal locations around the world and for every bottle sold, a donation is made to the Marine Conservation Society to help protect and regenerate precious ocean habitats.
Details & Care
- A delicate combination of floral elderflower and fresh pine with a hint of berry sweetness and herbaceous dill on the nose.
- Sweet yet complex berry flavours on the palate with a faint hint of salinity from kelp and samphire. Floral notes from elderflower and resinous pine provide a full spectrum of flavour.
- The finish is long and lingering with sweetness making way for elderberry tartness, dryness from sage and pine and lasting sense of the sea from the subtle flavours of kelp.
- Serve as a 50ml measure over ice with tonic or soda.
