Insights
Each candle is handmade in Belgium in small batches, using high quality ingredients and cotton wicks, with colour added manually, using mineral colourants from a rainbow palette of 75 colours.
Details & Care
- Small variants in finishing and colour are unavoidable and are inherent to the traditional process.
- Place the candle on a stable, horizontal, heat-resistant and fireproof surface.
- Do not leave candles burning unsupervised
- For a candle with a diameter of 7cm: on the first two occasions, let the candle burn until the wax pool is 5mm from the edge. This may take 2-3 hours. Let the candle cool down and stiffen completely before relighting it again. Thereafter, you can burn the candle for a longer period, as long as the wax pool does not reach the edge.
- Trim down the wick to 5 mm after every use. If the wick is too long, the candle will burn unevenly or drip.
