Insights
Belonging to our ‘Toasted Stoneware’ range, this salt pig is the result of a collaboration between our creative director, Louise Johnson, and potters local to the Cotswolds. The dappled colouring comes from the high iron content within the clay, encouraging a speckled patina. Fired at 1300°C, this process enhances the variegation and generates a luscious glaze.
