Made in Lithuania for Burford from natural flax, this table linen is incredibly soft yet durable. Linen is known as the world’s strongest natural fibre and withstands much abrasion - resulting in pieces that will last for years and will age and soften beautifully with many washes.

Traditionally flax has played a key part in Lithuanian life, both in cultivation and at home where it is difficult to imagine any kind of important celebration without linen – be it marriage, baptism, funerals or other family celebrations. Lithuanian linen is renowned for its quality and is lighter than other linen fabrics.

  • Colour: White
  • 100% linen, 215 g/m2
  • Stone washed for extra softness
  • Ethically made in Lithuania
  • OEKO-TEX® and EUROPEAN FLAX® certified linen fabric
  • Available in various colours in three sizes with matching napkins.
  • Please note that if you're purchasing the same colour items at different times there may be some slight colour differences due to natural linen qualities and differing dye lots.
  • Washable at 40 degrees. Avoid detergents with bleach (i.e. chlorine, peroxide). If your washing machine allows you to select the water level, choose the highest one offered because linen is highly absorbent.
  • Linen can be dried in a tumble dryer on a low temperature, hung, or left to dry flat on a white towel.
  • If using a tumble dryer, take the linen out when it’s still damp and complete drying by hanging it or laying flat.
  • Drying white linen in the sun helps retain the original white colour.
  • Iron linen while it’s still slightly damp. Use medium or high temperatures and steam. If required, you can also spray some water on the fabric.
