Features

notes

A compact grass, Miscanthus Gnome has narrow leaves that turn from blue-green to yellow and then to brown, with feathery panicles that open in late summer a pinkish bronze colour before fading to silver. These remain on the plant over winter providing sculptural interest in the garden.

Insights

Miscanthus is a tolerant, deciduous hardy perennial with an erect habit that offers great versatility in the garden. It looks wonderful as a specimen or planted in groups as a screen, but equally looks effective in a large pot on a terrace.
