Planting
- Soil: Well‑drained, fertile soil
- Aspect: Full sun to light shade
- Sow seeds about 1 cm deep where plants are to grow; rake in or cover lightly with fine soil.
- Autumn sowings can flower earlier the following spring.
Care
Keep soil evenly moist while seedlings establish. Once established, Honesty is undemanding and benefits from light mulch to retain moisture. It often self‑seeds readily if spent stems are left in place, returning year after year with minimal effort.
