- Sow: March – May (direct outdoors)
- Flowers: June - October
- Hardy annual
- Soil: Well‑drained, fertile soil
- Aspect: Full sun
- Sow seeds thinly in a fine seedbed about 1 cm deep outdoors once all risk of frost has passed. Can also be started under cover from late winter and transplanted when strong.
- Thin seedlings to about 20–25 cm (8–10″) apart once established to allow airflow and healthy growth.
Keep the soil evenly moist during germination and early growth. Once growing strongly, moderate watering is usually sufficient. Removing faded blooms as you go can help prolong the flowering season. Linaria is generally low‑maintenance and quick to establish.
