Belper Knolle
Infused with garlic and Himalayan salt, then rolled in cracked black pepper, this little ball of Swiss cheese is more suited for use as a condiment than it is to a cheeseboard. Marrying a creamy mouthfeel with intense garlicky notes, its ideal for grating over fresh pastas, risottos, salads, steamed potatoes, and steaks.

First created in 1993, Belper Knolle is the invention of Herr Glauser, who runs a small dairy located in the small town of Belp, near Berne. Reflecting its iconic earthy, almost truffle-like appearance Belper Knolle literally translates to ‘the tuber from Belp’. Herbal and slightly acidic, it also pairs perfectly with dry white wines.
