The Calathea Oppenheimiana features striking, patterned foliage with distinctive shades of green and velvety, deep purple on its undersides sat atop long, slender green stems. A notable characteristic of the Calathea, you will notice its leaves closing at night and opening up again during the daytime.  

This special range of high-quality houseplants are British grown and peat free. Using eco-friendly approaches to cultivating houseplants, the growers have used a fruitful combination of a recycled peat-free medium and biomass heating.
