Brunnera macrophylla Jack Frost is a herbaceous perennial grown for its large, heart-shaped silver leaves, edged and veined with bright green. In spring it bears relatively tall sprays of tiny, bright blue flowers rather like forget-me-nots, from clusters of tinged buds.A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden

This is a useful ground cover plant perfect for shady areas. It will form large, light-coloured mounds under deciduous trees, in the front of a border or along the edge of a woodland path.
