notes

From early to late summer, the Catananche Caerulea Blue produces a welcome injection of lavender blue colour to the border. The flowers, which resemble cornflowers, have thin stems and sparse foliage so are best grown in groups to provide impact.

Insights

A lover of full sun, once established the plants have good drought tolerance and are a wonderful addition to the garden for attracting bees and other pollinators.
