Features

notes

Named after the son of The Prince of Wales, Prince George is suitably regal. A medium sized clematis, it is a relatively new release, flowering from mid-summer onwards, providing some late summer interest. Its refined flowers bear white ruffled petals with a blue hue on the reverse, centred with pale yellow stamens. A vigorous grower, the climber is easy to look after, ideal for a small space or training over a pergola.

Insights

Clematis need their roots to be cool and their heads in the sun, so plant with roots shaded by other plants. Moreover, they will add height to the garden or provide colour to a plain background, such as a fence or wall.
