Its foliage is edged with creamy yellow, awarding the plant interest even when not in flower.

This is a low maintenance plant, which does not require pruning. Plant this Daphne in a sheltered spot by the door or gate where you will pass by often and linger awhile for the pure joy of the scent. Unsurprisingly, this compact shrub also attracts bees and other native pollinators.
