Features

notes

The evergreen perennial Dianthus Glen Bay is notable for its large, double, creamy blooms thickly trimmed with pink, which bear a spicy clove scent. Upright and compact, Grace Bay is ideal for a container on the terrace, or as underplanting for roses and shrubs. Flowering over a long period from summer into autumn, the flowers attract bees and butterflies and are great to cut and bring inside.

Insights

The common name of ‘pink’ is not due to the colour, but the fact that their petals look as if they have been cut with pinking shears! Plant in an open position and remember to deadhead flowers to encourage repeat flowering.
