Care
- Deadhead to promote prolonged flowering
- Water well in dry spells – does not like very wet or very dry conditions
- Mulch in colder areas to protect from frost
- The main foxglove flower is called the ‘king’ flower; cut this back after flowering to encourage lower shoots to bloom, but before doing so allow the bees to do their busy work.
- Highly toxic by ingestion.
- Wear gloves and wash hands after handling.
