This tender hybrid foxglove lights up the garden with upright spikes of orange and yellow bell-shaped flowers, that are highly attractive to pollinators. Dark green foliage forms a neat mound at the base.

Care
  • Deadhead to promote prolonged flowering
  • Water well in dry spells – does not like very wet or very dry conditions
  • Mulch in colder areas to protect from frost
  • The main foxglove flower is called the ‘king’ flower; cut this back after flowering to encourage lower shoots to bloom, but before doing so allow the bees to do their busy work.
  • Highly toxic by ingestion.
  • Wear gloves and wash hands after handling.
