notes
Foxgloves are a cottage garden staple and a wonderful addition to any garden, with tubular flowers, irresistible to bees. Digitalis Lucas has purple and pink flowers with speckled throats, above dark green clump-forming foliage.
Insights

Digitalis Lucas is a sterile variety which means that it will flower for longer (from May until late September) as it is not putting its energy into seed, thus no self seeding. Compact and well branched, Lucas is an ideal choice for container planting, and makes an excellent cut flower.
