Eragrostis curvula Totnes Burgundy, despite its West Country name, is a type of deciduous African Love Grass that is particularly rewarding in high summer when the fine, inward curving foliage matures into a glorious shade of burgundy, hence its name. At the same time delicate flowers, borne on tall, slender stems, catch the slightest breeze like so much pretty froth.

Perfect for a prairie planting scheme, E. Totnes Burgundy is notable for providing movement as the flowers sway above a sunny border. It also works particularly well as statement planting in a container.
