notes

Euphorbia martinii Rudolph is a shrubby spurge from the Mediterranean, forming mounds of evergreen leaves, the tips of which blush a lovely deep red in autumn and winter. In early spring, showy heads of chartreuse-yellow flowers bring colour to a spring border or container.

Insights

Plant this forgiving evergreen perennial in beds and borders as a contrast in foliage form and texture that is especially striking alongside leafy shrubs. Euphorbias are equally at home in a contemporary minimalist or gravel garden and look excellent in containers.
