Artist
Felicity Hughes Scholes trained in textile design before beginning her career in theatre, creating printed and hand-dyed fabrics for productions at Sadler’s Wells. Her creative path later expanded to jewellery design, working with Murano glass blowers, and returning to painting and teaching in 2000. A colourist at heart, she works primarily in soft pastel and watercolour, drawing inspiration from Cornwall, the Western Isles, Venice, and the Atlantic’s ever-shifting character.
