- The spine divided into six panels with raised bands, red Morocco label to the second panel, lettered in gilt, all others with gilt tooling.
- Pepys crest is embossed on the front and back covers in gilt.

- This facsimile edition was limited to 500 copies. This volume is no.274.
- The limitation leaf is also signed by Walter Hamilton, Master, Magdalene College, Cambridge.
