With the fantastic name of ‘Beard Tongue’, this penstemon is a low-growing, spreading plant with multiple spikes of impressive foxglove-like flowers in shades of mauve blue. The flowers are highly attractive to bumble bees and other pollinators. Supplied in a biodegradable pot made from waste coir and natural latex.

Care

  • Mulch around base in colder areas to protect roots from frost
  • Good drainage is important – does not like waterlogged roots
