Insights
This luxuriant throw was woven in one of the last so-called Vertical Mills in Britain. Founded in 1837 in West Yorkshire, each of the different processes involved in producing a woven wool fabric happens on a different storey of the mill, from washing the raw wool, to the fabric’s final rinse in natural water from nearby bore holes.
