Iris Jane Phillips is an attractive tall bearded iris. The ruffled flowers, held on erect stems in late May and June, are pale lilac standards above pale lilac falls, white at the centre, and are great at attracting native pollinators such as butterflies and bees.

Irises are a traditional garden favourite, being both good looking and reliable performers. This variety looks lovely planted en masse in a sunny, well drained border or as part of a cottage garden scheme. They also make excellent cut flowers.

  • Deciduous perennial

Remove the stems after flowering from the base as this will concentrate the plant's energy into producing new rhizomes. Divide and replant about every three years.
