Artist
Julian Paltenghi (b. 1955) is a Post-war and Contemporary artist best known for his meditative still lifes and landscapes. Trained at Loughborough College of Arts, he focuses on simple, contemplative subjects - flowers, fruit, bottles, and glassware - rendered with quiet clarity. Since the 1980s, he has exhibited widely across Europe, America, and Australia. Awarded the Hunting/Observer Travel Award in 1992, he developed a body of work in Australia that was later shown at the Royal College of Art.
