- Sow direct into the ground from May onwards
- 5cm deep, 20cm apart
- In rows 45cm apart
- Prefers a sheltered, sunny spot
- Protect from mice and slugs
- Plant with nasturtiums to repel aphids
- Pick the beans regularly to ensure continuous flowering and bean production
- Stringless when young – pick while tender
- Sow small amounts at regular intervals to ensure a continuous supply of beans throughout the season
