Also known as Lavender ‘Arabian Nights’, this bushy evergreen English lavender bears very long spikes of purple blue flowers, which are highly attractive to bees and are beautifully displayed above aromatic grey-green foliage. These long flower stems are used to great effect in bouquets or to hang and dry.

Its leaves and flowers can be used to flavour biscuits, stews and soups, but it is also useful as a low hedge, or attractive border or container plant. Lavender ‘Sussex’ is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
