Artist
Daisy Clayton is a contemporary artist from Oxfordshire. Using her background in psychology, she has built upon her previous skills as a painter by focusing her interest on how a painting can make someone feel and the emotions it may evoke. Inspired by light, nature and the changing seasons, Daisy is interested in abstracting an object or view to illustrate different perspectives whilst maintaining elements of the original form. She develops layers of texture and colour as she centres her work around a point of light. Daisy aims to create a sense of peace in the viewer whilst inducing memories and providing room for unique interpretation. Daisy's paintings have featured in The World of Interiors, GQ magazine and Vanity Fair.
