Features

notes
Nature, the river, and the faint view of the cityscape unify to provoke a compelling image of quiet contemplation, away from the bustle and noise of the city. Featuring an intricate formation of colours and textures, cleverly executed via the form of watercolour pens, this artwork would situate beautifully in an interior for those who prefer works on a smaller, more intimate scale.
Insights

A highly distinctive, pointillism style reminiscent of Impressionist painting, Williams’ unique work was achieved by depicting the natural landscape when viewed through glass. Using fine watercolour pens, the intricately detailed illustrations are a pairing of a multitude of small marks and a kaleidoscope of colours.

Artist

Dividing her time between working in her studios in the South of France and London, Williams depicts a range of contemporary works within the genres of landscape, portraiture, and still life. Prior to this, Williams was the co-owner of the Rowley Gallery in Kensington for twelve years where she specialised in hand finished, customised framing.
